Whether you have a Frame 5, 6, 7 or 9 turbine, we can provide cable solutions that will reduce your turbine’s downtime, repair costs and susceptibility to excess heat generated at failure points on your turbine. Our cables have superior reliability, offer a variety of braiding options for abrasion resistance and EMI shielding and are either waterproofed or environmentally sealed for longevity. All our thermocouples, flame sensors and cables are developed, tested and manufactured at our facility in Wilmington, Massachusetts, which enables us to manufacture OEM certified products and be a qualified supplier.
If your turbine is equipped with a studded/nut connection or a hermetically sealed connector, AMETEK Power Instruments can design and manufacture various lengths and configurations that will meet the specific needs of your turbine. Our cables are capable of water washdowns in accordance with Nema 4 or IP55. They are rated from -4° F (-20° C) to 500° F (260° C) depending on what connection configuration your turbine is equipped with. We also offer hi-temp versions that can withstand over 1,202° F (650° C) to provide continual operation even if your turbine has exhaust leaks.
